Hola muchachas
jan-feb is best time for nilgai , 7mm + or better yet is .300 mag , as a tough hide and heavy duty bone make them tough critters
these were shot 300wm 180gr hornday , no exit holes

S-3, where did you find a ranch that allows the 7mm Mag to hunt nilgai? I have only seen ranches with the .300 Win Mag minimum.
I watched a guy take a large bison here in Texas with a 6.5 CM. One shot and dropped. I would have lost a significant amount of money betting that was going to be a multi-round kill. Luckily the bison was facing him and he made a perfect heart shot right through the chest. He was not wearing a flat brim.

I have no doubt my 7mm Rem would put a Nilgai down but many ranches have this 300 Win minimum???

I doubt that you can find a paid hunt not require a .300 + rifle

People believe 300's make up for bad shots. Shooting 300's is what makes people make bad shots!! :)

A 7Mag with 160 gr Barnes will kill anything on the planet.
Well it good to know .300wm scares people ? this young meat bull was killed by a 6.5 mm ( a real 6.5 ) 264win mag 140 gr nosler partition on 2/19/22
