Looking at one for Archery lope this year. Waste of money?

I used one a couple years ago for archery lopers and it didn't do much good for me. I could get to about the hundred yard range and then they would get nervous. I have heard it works, but I couldn't seal the deal with it...

I think the trick with these type of blind/decoys is to not walk straight at the antelope but make a big sweeping arc slowly getting closer as you go. also do wat cows do: stop, meander and move slowly.
