I have seen quite a number of great bulls posted this year on this website, but I often lose track of the threads. I thought maybe some of you who have taken monsters would be willing to re-post them on this thread to allow us to take a look at all of them. Please include a little information about score, State, what type of weapon and such. I just thought it would make a cool post.
Thanks,
Soup

It doesn't take that much time to scroll down through the pages on the Elk froum to see what has been taken and saves web space for the Founder here on MM.

Deep Creek Mountains of Utah, Sept. 24, 2007, Rifle.
I heard him and the satellite bulls bugling in the cedars and I ran to try to flank him.
I followed for about 2 miles running when I could.
The herd and the satellite bulls slowed him enough that I got a few looks at him in the cedars.
I finally got my shot as I cleared them before he got into thicker cover.
I hunted 10 days seeing over 30 bulls. I hunted mostly high until it snowed on Sept. 23.

This is my 2007 Utah Archery Bull.

He scores plenty for me, 53 inch mains, 22.5 inch 2nds, 18 fourths, very good mass.

Thanks for all the encouragement to keep at it from: my brother in law and Prooutdoors.

Here is a field photo, not the best quality didn't have digital camera set on high resolution. But anyway it was shot in Utah on the san juan.

When my father in law was cutting up the bull he found a piece of arrow in the bull, right in the back straps, it was lucky that this bull made it, we think it was a shot from last year had plenty of scare tissue around the arrow. I should post a picture of the arrow because I cant believe the broadhead they used it was to small for elk, to small for any animal except rabbits. I bet it wasn't a legal broadhead.

Soupcreek thanks for starting this thread. Nice to see photo after photo on the same page.
Nice bulls everyone.

ktc thanks. a few people around town seen this bull last year and the bull had some fifths plus the six browtines. to bad it didnt grow the fifths this year.

About the poor 5ths, my Bros bull had 55" mains and was great on the bottom but no fifths. Went 380 gross without much for 5th tines.

Congrats everyone on some smokin' bulls!

The lack of fifths reminds me of my bull! I shot this bull on the Wasatch archery! Congrats to all of you on your bulls! They are all huge! What a great Year!

See the effects of the late drought? That 2nd bull is absolute world class from 3rds down + mass and just average on the top. Nice animals. Thanks.

Hey guys, longtime observer, first time poster.
Just thought this bull needed to be added here with all these other monsters!
This is another AZ bull that the Mullins boys helped with this year.
This is the "Ocho Grande" bull and he scored 417" gross!
As his name implies he's an 8x8 and he lived in the same area as the "Wrongway" bull. ( post #15 )
Great site, great thread.....congrats to all the successful hunters! JIM>
