UBA Bowhunter Meeting

What:
The Utah Bowmen's Association is holding a bowhunter meeting at Cabelas on Monday, August 2 at 6:30pm. You do not have to be a member of UBA to attend this meeting. At the meeting we will be discussing upcoming issues related to big game hunting in Utah. If you would like to contribute to this discussion, or here what is going on, feel free to attend.

Do these meetings have any impact or benifit hunting in any manner if so please explaine?

muleyskinner, I suggest you go to one of the meetings and see what the UBA is on about these days. I think you might like what you find. Yeah, there's plenty of target issues to discuss, but the majority of the basis for the organization and it's focus is on how to help sportsman and in particular archers, have our say in helping and managing our states big game.

The purpose of this meeting is to get feedback from Utah's bowhunters concerning their opinions on upcoming big game related hunting issues and proposals. The feedback at these meetings help us determine as an organization what proposals to support and which proposals fight against. If you decide to attend this meeting you will likely learn a lot about what plans are in the works for the next few years as well as have an oppurtunity to give your feedback.

have a few concerns does this organization have a membership fee? how much? who represents the UBA?

An annual family membership to the Utah Bowmen's Association costs $20. You can find a list of our Board of Directors as well as our regional representatives on our website at www.utahbowmen.org. Also, I'd like to reiterate that you do not have to be a member in order to attend this meeting.
