Unit 10 Youth

Looking for any helpful advice on unit 10. My son has the youth hunt through 11/2. I know many recommend the Ruby Mountains but not sure we are ready for the pack in and stay. We had good luck in 104 in past years but were up last weekend and saw lots of hunters and lots of does.

Not looking for giants just something he can be proud of and work hard for.

Any recommendations would be incredibly appreciated.

No luck this year. Hiked high and saw lots of does and probably more people. Cold weather came in but time to get back to work. Next year. Ruby's are a great place and thanks for all the posts here, all were helpful.
