The game and fish is proposing another 50 tag increase of unit 102 in Wyoming. We are asking that you guys that have hunted 102 or want to hunt 102 or just want the Wyoming game and fish recognize that all deer hunters don't just want to shoot a 22" 4 point to speak up.
There are two ways you can help. On Tuesday April 1st there is a meeting at the Green River game and fish office. We are asking that you attend the meeting and vocally oppose a tag increase and actually ask them to reduce the tags by 50 permits. We figure if we can get twenty or thirty guys and gals at that meeting it would be a slam dunk
If you live out of state and want to help you can foward your comments to [email protected] tell him that you can't attend the meeting but your interested in hunting unit 102 and you want it managed for quality, and not another max opportunity unit. Ask him to cut the amount of tags to 350 Also ask him to foward your comments to the game and fish commissoners as part of the liesence season setting comments.
Lets work together to see that another area that has a long history of producing trophies isn't ruined forever.
