i thank those of you who replied to my last post, it gave me some hope that my efforts won't go to total waste!! i will be leaving tuesday morning for 5 days of solo hunting and can't wait! it appears the weather is moving in, so that should help. i now wonder if there is anyone who has been to this units in the last 2 seasons that would just give me some vague info on the recent elk hunting situation. thanks again and hope to meet some of you folks up there next week! good luck to all!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be up there around Cross Mtn. but the outlook doesn't look to good. I think they had too bad of a winter kill. We are after 3 cows and I will be happy with one. We have went up there the last 4 years and did good every year but last year. Too warm last year, nothing moved down until mid-December. Are you going after a Bull or Cow?
