Unit 231 Deer

Both my son and I drew out deer tags for Unit 231. This will be my son's first hunt. We are both very excited. I have never hunted this unit before and just looking for ideas on where to start scouting. My son has a junior hunt permit, so he can do archery, muzzy, and rifle. My permit is a rifle permit. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have never hunted this area but it's probably one of the best if not the best in the state.......There gotten some toads out of that unit in the last 4 or 5 years.....I have a friend that's hunted there and will get some info and let you know.
