Unit 24

Gentlemen,

I have been tasked with taking a BRAND new hunter on a first ever rifle deer hunt in unit 24. couple of questions. What should be the expectations of size of deer? how is the hunting? and what are your thoughts on hunting high in the Northern part of the unit Vs. hunting lower in the desert? Hunt starts the first weekend of Nov.

As you can image, taking a new hunter out puts a lot of pressure on you. I am just trying to have a great experience for her. any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Don't know specifics of that unit but I archery hunt every year in 16b or 22 just north of there and personally I find a lot more deer in the lower desert country than I do up high
