Unit 27 landowner vouchers?

I am looking for a landowner voucher for Unit 27, 4th rifle season Nov. 11-16. Does anyone know where I can locate one or someone to contact?

How about GMU 181? Either or will work.

It's the same hunt. Tags are good in both units.

I tried last year and had no luck. Seems like the licenses are all spoken for. I'll be curious to see if anyone has advice.

I looked lots last year and called Carters. They had no connections in that area. I drove to Kremmling, stopped at the Forest Service/BLM office, the CSU extension office and the Colorado DOW office in Hot Sulfur. No luck at any location. I even watched local papers when I could.

Why are they so hard to come by? It is a good area but there are a few better units that I have no problem locating one. I talked to Carter's as well and they do not have any nor do they expect to in the future.

Maybe the landowners who drew them actually used them for what they were intended. There's a novel idea.

Maybe I do not understand the voucher system but a landowner who usually draws 2 or 3 tags per year told me to see if I could find a l.o. voucher, and if I could, I could use it to hunt on his ranch. (The one's he draws for are already spoken for) Any comments as to whether this works?
