UNIT 361 White River National Forest "HELP"

Looking for some general info and some possible area I should start scouting. I will be hunting the last week of the archery season and I'm concerned that this unit is small and it has a quit a few forest roads. Thank you in advance!!!!
 
I've seen elk out in the scrub oak by Radium a lot and all the way to the top during archery season. Herds use to reside mainly on the ranch once hunting season opened but now the ranch hunts it, so helps a little but not a lot. Cotton wood creek is a good place to start.
 
Thanks for the information! I have been looking at Cotton wood and Piney Peak area. It seems a bit flat up there not a lot north facing deep basin. Should I look for water or pastures? Thanks again...
