Made a mistake I think it is Iron gate camp groung not hells gate. All help is welcome.

It is the Iron Gate campground... but the road into it feels like HELL. Whole lotta bad road packed into just a few miles.

It's a big unit, but lots of trails and traffic. Huge numbers of recreation users, grouse hunters will still be up there plus your fellow muzzleloaders for deer and elk.

That unit has seen some big fire in the past few years and those would be worth a look. Although, not sure how passable some of those areas would be to livestock.
