Anybody have any experience with this tag? I picked it up this year and have been hearing conflicting reports. I will have access to horses and everything needed to get back in there. This is the first year in 12 years you can hunt the Dead Indian side of the unit in Nov. I talked to the Biologist and he said that it should be good with weather. However I talked to a guy that lives in Cody and is highly regarded for killing giant bulls. He said he was in there last year helping a buddy out with a deer tag in the same unit and never saw an elk the whole hunt. This was when it was super cold with lots of snow also. Just trying to get a feeling for what to expect.
