can someone tell me if 53 has huntable pronghorns on public land

LAST EDITED ON Feb-28-09 AT 10:06PM (MST)[p]Yes. However, the 07-08 winter kill took a big toll on this area. I attached a photo of the antelope my dad took in this unit in 08. This buck was the biggest buck we could find. We doe hunted the unit in '06 and there were antelope everywhere. 08 was a much different story with the amount of antelope being drastically reduced. It was still a fun hunt. It just depends on what you are looking for in a hunt. You can PM me if you want more info.

good buck..congratulations..my nephew has zero points non-resident..looks like he could draw 53..is there enough public land for a quality hunt without worrying about private land controversy? any info would be appreciated...thanks happytohunt
