Unit 54 Third Season

Now that 2nd season is over, was wondering if someone could lend any info of what was seen or had any advice for a guy with a third season tag. Thanks for any info in advance.

Weather has been warm, no snow to speak of. That might change for opening day though.

I have a landowners tag promised for 2013 3rd season and would appreciate any information on how this year went, number of bucks seen and any general information. My last hunt there was in 2007 just before the big winter kill.

Would like to hear how the 3rd season elk hunters are doing in 54. I would think the majority are still really high with the mild weather or are forced to the ranches.

LAST EDITED ON Nov-05-12 AT 10:23AM (MST)[p]Processor was really busy on Sunday. Guys were lined up out the door. Someone had a monster bull from 66. Hunted deer with my brother in 67. Saw 100+ deer but no elk.
