unit 55

we are planning on putting in for 55 this year and i havent been down there since i was a kid. i remember being south of oakley near city of rocks but thats about it. planning on heading down there in a month or so (weather permitting) just to check some country out. would anyone have any info. they would be willing to share, areas to check out, etc? how are the herds in 55? not looking for bruisers, but good respectable bucks.

if you spend some time getting away from the roads, you will find what you are looking for. Not a lot of bruisers, but a few decent bucks. the farther you get from a road, the better off you will be.
