Unit 66 Elk

Due to the points creep was looking for information on other units. Was wondering what unit 66 muzzy season was like. Am a nr that has 15 points and was hoping to go in 61 some day but not sure I can make that long. Thanks

Unit 66 is not worth 15 points. You can get a 1st season rifle for 2 pp. A top end bull is usually 270 or so. I have seen a couple over 300, one was shot in 67 and the other was with a other bull I shot. Hunted down off on since 98, when it became a limited unit.

Thanks leonard Im just looking at the different muzzy units tring to come with plan B. Have been to unit 61 and liked the country very much but am growing tired of the points creep not sure what to do. Got a call from dow trying to get us to change to unit 40 but looks like to much private land for a good hunt. Do you or anyone know a good unit that might work for nr muzzy with a few points?

I was also wondering why 66 and 67 were taking 11 and 9 PP's for a ML hunt?? My Son has 10 PP's and we were looking and trying to decide where to go.
