Unit 70 Elk 1st Rifle where to stay?

Taking my 84yr old uncle on what will most likely be he last chance at a branched antler bull. Would love to at least get him in a position to have an opportunity - i know it'll be a tough task but sometimes its more about the adventure. My question is if we stay in the Norwood area how far from decent elk country would we be? I haven't been there, but I canceled a couple of vacations so I can squeeze in a scouting trip. I know it'll most likely overrun with hunters during the season, but usually can find elk where other people don't look.

Thank you! Appreciate the response! Have a busy year ahead and need to make the most of my time. Need to scout unit 70, the Book Cliffs North Deer & unit 231 Nevada Elk. Plus a couple other hunts that are places we have experience in. Thanks again!
