Unit 73A MuleDeer info needed

Hey guys,

I'm gonna be hunting this unit with a buddy this October...his Dad has some land at the base of the foothills near American Falls. He hasn't hunted it for a long time. Just wondering what kind of deer to expect or any places to check out. I know the unit is not too big, but any help would be appreciated!

I've usually hunted the central part of the area around Deep Creek Peak. Found some large, unique sheds from the past in that area, but have found smaller sheds in more recent times. However, I have seen some good deer recently in that area and harvested a couple nice ones, too. The place I go is away from where most humans are willing to walk (at least a mile in). I have never had an issue seeing deer there. Didn't see many people in the area last year, and usually don't, relative to other places I have been. Get off the road. I'm confident you'll do well. I originally chose the area because of the relative success rate, and have personally found it successful.
