Without a doubt it's been a strange year for Utah's LE elk hunters. A potential new world record was taken, but the number of 370-410 bulls appears to be way off.
Reports from the summer ranges seemed to be pretty positive with a lot of good bulls being found. Where'd these bulls go? Or were they really ever there to begin with?
So, with that in mind we're just a few weeks out from the late elk hunts. Could it be the best hunt of the year, or is it gonna keep in line with the tough "big bull" hunting that seems to be how '08 will go down in history???
What's your opinion?
