I took a few photos of these two rams earlier this year. I'm not a good judge of size on rams, but both of these boys look good to me. For those of you more competent in field judging sheep, where would these two rank as far as score? Thanks.

LAST EDITED ON Apr-24-11 AT 03:38PM (MST)[p]I am first curious where you even find sheep in Utah's "west desert", unless they are some left from the old Deep Creeks transplant or the Newfys? The video is also not good enough for me to venture a good score guess, but the bottom one for sure looks like very respectable "Utah" rams....maybe 170ish but that is a real guess.

Are those Cali's out on the Newfy's or what........???

Please get with the guru of filming---''Midnight''----for some decent photo shots----thru your spotting scope.

Granted, it is all relative---but it would certainly help answer your question....

Looks like ya had some fun and saw some Rams!

I know last time we were on the Goshute we saw about 25 sheep and a couple of rams still alive from the old Deep Creek transplant. Also there is sheep on Pilot peak north of Wendover.
