Vancouver island Bear hunt

I would very much like to hunt bear on Vancouver Island. Has anyone hunted with Pacific Rim (Shockey) and are they worth the extra money? Thanks.

I hunted with Trophy West several years ago and they are a first class outfitter. Lots of bears, BIG bears, and great guides.

I hunted moose with Shockey's outfit in the Yukon, they run a great outfit and I'm sure their Vancouver Island operation is good as well, but you should consider Trophy West. I think Shockey's prices are higher because he is so well known, but you will get just as good of an experience with other outfits on the island.
