I am looking for a new camcorder to take on vacation this year. I would like to stay under $500 with accessories. Anyone have some pointers on brands that are worth looking at and the ones to stay away from.
Panasonic, and sony are good low end camcorders. You sacrifice in long distance filming but short bowhunting or tree stands they do great. Not sure if cannon is worth extra cash.
