I am new to shooting at long ranges, I have a 300 RUM that shoots less than .5 MOA, and it is topped with a Leupold VXIII L 4.5-14X50 with the B&C Ret and 1" tube. Like I say I am knew to shooting at "long" dist. Anyways I went out shooting w/ a buddy that is also new to it, and his has the Huskima scope on his rifle. WOW what a difference it is to have that turret!!! He had a GREAT group out to 800 yards! I on the other hand did not group out past 650 yards. I would like to be able to shoot out near 1000 yards, and have seen what a great deal Camera land has on the Vortex scope. My drawn out question is, has anybody used this scope much? Also has anybody tried the new custome turret upgrade that Vortex offers for that scope? Any information would be great. Thanks ahead of time. Chad
