Waiting period

Just wondering if you can build Bonus Points while in the 5 year waiting period, after drawing for the same species?

No you cannot get bonus points for the species you drawed during the waiting period. Yup five years before I can put in for elk again, and maybe 25 yrs to draw?

Thanks for the info. Hope I can find a good one on the Paunsaugunt, 6 points OK, but 5 more years thats pushing it.
