Thanks for the posts guys. all I can say are the elk are rutting and leaves are changing...We went hunting on the 17th when it was just a down pour out side but knowing we didn't have time to just sit and wait. We endend up hiding under a pine tree to get out of the rain, spotting low at the bottom of the quakes just caught them all snug in there beds. the bull was still busy chasing some smaller bulls out of the area. He just came to a small clearing standing there pretty as a picture. The shot was 600 yards and the rest is history so they say except the work out we got getting the beast out...lol...Thanks
