West Murderer's Creek Elk

I've got 6-points to burn and was hoping to get some advise on this unit from past hunters that hunted there in the last couple of years.Looks like it's got alot of public land. Thankyou for any info.

Your right, most of the Unit is comprised of public lands. The negative is, the Unit has a very high road density.

The north end has very few roads, but it's rough country for the most part. pretty good elk numbers though not like it used to be , not too many tags and lots of public land. you could do worse.

hunted it two years ago, the roads are closed during the season...

Did you see many elk while hunting West Murders Creek. Also, did you hunt in the road closure area. Just curious in the number of elk you saw, any good bulls?. I was thinking of possibly putting in for this area this year.
