what guns are you guys using this coyote season?

my trusty Ruger 22-250! I use a foxpro electronic caller and a wide range of hand calls. I love the sceery calls!

22-250 is an awsome gun im gunna be using a 243 wetherby vanguard and a variety of handcalls too and the sceery calls are the best thanks for commenting

I use a Howa 22-250 thumbhole with a heavy barrel, a harris bi-pod and a 6X24 scope. It's a load to haul around but damn accurate, I nailed a yote last year at 525 yards.

I just got a foxpro spitfire, and have had the best luck with lightning jack, then male challenge scream, then pup screams.

These are my go to calls...thanks Kerry Carver and a homemade cow horn howler.

ULTIMATE PREDATOR

I am using mainly a R15 with 55 Gr VMAX and a Howa 1500 22-250 with 55 Gr Vmax as a backup.

For calls I am using the Foxpro CS-24 and a variety of mouth calls from Kerry Carver, Tony Jones and some Verminator calls.

The rest of my calls are just on display in my office.

Ruger M77 in 22Hornet w/45gr Barnes XLC;
Sako L461 in 222remmag w/55gr Sierra SPBT;
Browning Abolt in 243 w/75gr Vmax.

This one is last year.

Mdl 70 in 223 WSSM with leupold 4.5-14 x 50. stock dipped in Mossy Oak Brush....50grn v-max in front of some Varget. no snow here in the northern sacto valley so more Mossy Oak brush camo. Calls are reeds & electronic. One little secret, when the cattle are dropping calves SOME ranchers appreciate you running protection of their calves, and some cows die during birth. Packs will be close by!

And now we have a wolf in the country. Could be interesting.

Good luck guys

T/C Venture 22-250 mojo critter and foxpro spitfire with some hand calls.

"Better to dwell in the wilderness, Then with a contentious and angry women Proverbs 21:19)

i use a winchester ranger 223 with a 50 gr ballastic tip topped with nikon coyote special 3x9x40, and my buddy uses a savage 243, 80 gr silver tip, topped with a burris 3x9x40 we use a wide varriety of calls, primos hand calls, and a johnny stewert electric call, and it just depends on the day on which call the dogs are gonna bite on, (kinda like fishing)

JUST HUNT

i also have a 220 swift in remington 700. sendero style composite stalk, heavy barrel, very nice weapon. i just got it this year and i absolutely love it. it is the gun of a lifetime, the 1 i have wanted for years but didnt have the luck to find 1 when i had some $ to spend on 1. the stars aligned and i walked into cabelas and had a pocketful of $ and walked out with it.
