What happened to the mature bucks in unit 54?? We just got back and the mature bucks are just about non-existant. 6 days of hunting and we only saw 3 decent bucks 24" and only saw 1 small 5X5 the other bucks were forks and spikes. We did not shoot any deer. We hunted the same area as two years ago and we saw plenty of nice bucks then, did not seem like anything really changed we packed in 5 miles off the road and the bucks just were not there.
