Any of you guys seein any deer that have shed yet? Ive been lookin around and all the deer Ive been watchin are still packin. Im readfy to get out if we could get rid of some of this snow we still got.

I'd say at least 90% of the mature bucks have shed. Saw a bunch of dinks this morning still packing but nothing bigger than 150 class.

There is brown on the ground in Mesa County, only saw two bucks with one antler each last weekend.

I am from Grand Junction also.

I have found a few sheds and I am seeing fewer and fewer bucks with antlers.

Went out last weekend to check on some bucks ive been watchin and picked up 8 sheds(1 decent fresh 6x6 setand the rest older ones) and 1 4x4 skull.

do any of you guys know of any decent spots on grand mesa to hunt for some horns? ive beeen lookin for some new spots to try out just for fun. i dont expect anybody to tell me their hot spot just a general area you might have found some.
