Wrist Surgery

Any of you fella's that have ever broken a wrist had any trouble dealing
with recoil after a surgical repair??

This is going to be an interesting fall.

CAT, you know I can barely draw a damn general season archery tag.

It's a damn curse, last time I drew it was the bicep tendon blowing, this time the wrist has more f@&$!?& metal than the average Dodge.

I'm not worried about pulling the bowstring, wondering how that first 3.5" goose load is gonna feel in January.

I got some plates/screws in my left wrist. Never an issue with recoil.

8 weeks post op I decided it was now or turn the tag in.

Set the draw weight to 60lbs and gave it hell.

Looks like I'll be on the hill in a couple weeks.

We'll see how recoil works but if it is anything like shooting the flip stick there should be no problem.

Back in June when you wrote, I didn't know what "Kind" of Surgery you may have....so I kept shut.

The biggest factor is usually Self Confidence. You sound to be approaching things well so I suspect no flinching and great game Pictures later.
