Wyoming Moose

Here is my dad's Unit 26 Wyo. Moose. He shot it on Thurs. Oct. 5th at first daylight. He had been hoping for one a little bigger, but also knows the risk of waiting too long, especially in Oct. when they roam so much. He's 42" wide, 7x8, with nice matching eyeguards. Biggest one he saw in the first few days of the hunt. Shot it right on the road and loaded him whole in the truck.

Congrats to you and your Dad. Since Wyoming manages for 32-36" bulls, and max. revenue for all the tags, he did well above average. Looks real good, and hope he had a good hunt.

That's a great bull, congrats to your dad. How many preference points did he have.

He had 10 Res. points. Max was 11, but a few tags made it to the 10 pool.

That's a very nice bull and your dad should be proud. I hunted 26 ten years ago, when bulls were supposedly more plentiful and I didn't see one any better than that. My bull was also 42 inches, but it did not have split brows. I shot it up Fontinnel Crk. Where did your dad's bull come from?
