A friend from Washington landed this incredible fish in British Columbia recently.
I'm green with envy....

tank!! 25lb'er+ i'd say and on a spey rod to boot...thats awesome. i wish i could figure my spey rod out.
my dad and some buddies just came back from BC and they had a hayday on spey rods. he landed 13 fish in one day.

A wild fish, I presume, and released? Isn't 27lb+ the record? Gotta be pushing that for sure.

I've looked at these photos a hundred times.
Truly the fish of a lifetime.
The fish was measured & released and estimated at about 29lbs.
The California state record is 27lbs for comparison.

I teased him by posting a pic of this monster "steelhead".
