My 12 year old boy drew the only youth rifle Ewe tag.
We scouted for 2 days prior to opening morning...
On opening morning, my son got a 200 yard shot on a Ewe, which then slid all the way to the bottom of the bowl/cliff.
From there, it was up to Dad (le Mule) to carry out the animal.
By the time we hiked into the hunting spot in the morning, hiked the animal out, and then I had to hike back in for our camp, we ended up with 19 miles for the day. I was one exhausted Dad, but my kid is still talking about the adventure.
