That buck is on the grounds of a famous hotel in Colorado Springs. As far as i know it is still alive. It has a large growth on it's neck.

This was posted last year. It's somewhere in the archives. People said it was hit by a car, poached or even killed by dogs??
If I remember correctly someone did confirm that it was still alive and running with another good buck. If I find the link I will post it.

I talked to a DOW agent last month, she said they are still keeping tabs on it. Not too worried about it as it is possibly the most recognizable buck alive. Their fear is it will be hit by a car. With it living so close to a news station, cop shop, and every hunter in Colo Spgs trying to get pics of it, it should be fine.

It must be harder to get a photo of this buck after he stripped his velvet, than catching Doyle and company doing something illegal! Can't someone in Colorado Springs drive over there and get a photo to post?

Team Hossback, never a profit, just blood!

Somebody must have a pic of it hard-horned.....waiting to get it published for the big money probably...

Good news, I got some film and photos of this buck today. He has lost that large drop tine but still has the smaller one. Even better news, he was following a doe sharing his genetic makeup.
