My brother lives in Denver and has been working for a company that he hasn't been able to hunt much. He said that starting next year he is going to be able to take more time off for hunting.

So my question is- Is there anywhere in Colorado that I can buy an over the counter tag for and go hunting with my brother? I don't have any points and I am not exspecting a trophy area just want to be able to go hunting with my brother again. I would really appreciate any help. Also if you know the price of the tag for a non-res that would be a big help too.

Thanks

Josh

no there are no over the couter deer tags in the state but there are some units that take 0 points to draw, do your homework all the information is on the DOWs website you should be able to find a place to hunt good luck.

lots of good areas for deer that you can draw with 0 points. it might take you a while to find them, but they are out there. start reasearching the CO dow website and draw odds tool on MM and you'll find a place to hunt.

some elk units are otc, if you are interested.

They sure does tell ya how much they be selln' um for. Poke your nose around some to in the Colorado forum after you find a couple of units where you can draw. Lots of valuable insight in there. Do remember even though your brother may get a deer tag and you might not there is still the potiental opportunity for and OTC elk tag... You'd still be able to hunt.
