Dolores Triangle?

What is the deal with everybody being so hush hush about this unit. I never hear anybody say anything about it. Is it really that good, or really not that good? I know those unit 40 colorado bucks come into there. And I know there are some good unit 40 bucks. What is the deal?

I think there is only one noresident tag,so theres realy not to many people to do the talking.What is the tag quota for residents?

Theres only 10 resident tags for rifle. Maybe one MM guy draws. Over 10 years I've only seen 2-3 really special bucks from the unit. Over rated, but a neat area to hunt.

All you need to do is do a "search" and there are a lot of posts over the years about this unit hunt.

I have ? about this area. Where is it exactly at? I have no plans to ever hunt it just curious what towns are close by.

It's a wintering area, all depends on the snow. If the Colorado side gets heavy snow, it can be a great hunt, if not...you can always practice skipping rocks across the river.
