Colorado Muzzy Buck

LAST EDITED ON Sep-17-12 AT 01:15PM (MST)[p]Spent the last week in Colorado chasing big bucks with the Smokepole. It finally came together Thursday and I was able to anchor this nice buck. As a camp we went 3 for 5. It was a great trip. Thanks Colorado and your deer management.

Awesome bucks, my hunt starts next week, but in eastern WY. Don't expect this kind of quality. Beautiful animals.

Thanks guys. We had an incrredible week. We seen bucks of this caliber almost every day. Yes, the other two in our group were trying for big bucks.. Right up to the last night, they gave it hell. Could have easily filled all 5 tags if they had settled for lesser bucks. Again, Thank you Colorado for the oppurtunity..

Nice bucks! Only in Colorado. You will never see Utah photos like that- 3 DIY hunters on public land. Private yes public no. I know of several great bucks right now on Cedar Mountain in Southern Utah. Problem is that their on private.

Old Jake, thats exactly what we said about the picture. Kind of set it up that way on purpose. Not too often any more do you see a truck bed full of nice bucks. Yes, I can't wait til next year. It took us two years of learning. We put in the time and effort, (yes, we had a little help from a friend) and on year 3 we found the bucks and it paid off. I sure am glad now that 2 years ago we decided to take a chance and head off into an unfimiliar place and hope for the best. The best part about it is, I think we can draw this tag almost every year.
