Drew a Book Cliffs North tag this year, just wondering how far south is Seep Ridge Road paved. Planned on hunting in the Indian Ridge area. Buddy killed a nice buck in that area last year.
Thanks for the info

If your Diesel Ain't Chipped you'd best get her tuned up!

She's a Race Track out there & Paved damn near to the top!

You can Fly to Indian Ridge now!

Use to have to Inhale Dust!

Now it's Inhale Exhaust Fumes!

It's paved to about 4 miles from the Uintah/Grand County line and about 6 miles from the north/south divide.

A quick look at Google Earth shows that as of last Sept 30th, the pavement was only a few miles from the Divide Road. Looks like you could take a Maseratti out there these days...

Congrats on the tag "tehrich". How many points did you draw with..?? Have you been out there in the past..?? I could spare some info if you wanna send me a PM.

Thanks for the road info, any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I had 10 points as of last years draw, I have not been down there before, my buddy that got a deer last year said he would try to go with me and help me with spotting a decent one. Hopefully I can bring a good buck home. Thanks Tom

I drew with eight points this year. Looking forward to hunting some nice bucks with my bow. Good luck, I will be heading up for first scouting trip the end of this month.

I also drew archery with 8 points. I've never been out to the Books. I am planning my first trip next week to learn a few of the roads and lay out. I'm in Heber. If anybody wants to split gas and scout this summer pm me. I'm excited to learn all about the Book Cliffs.

Yeah I've heard it's good to take plenty of both. Thanks for all the great advice, let us know how your scouting went. Pics if you have them.
