ARIZONA 5B NORTH TWIN ARROWS HUNT

HAS ANYONE BEEN HUNTING IN THE TWIN ARROWS SUB UNIT THIS WEEK OR KNOW OF ANYONE WHO HAS?TRYING TO GET MY TEEN SON A BULL. HE HAS AN ANY ELK TAG BUT HE WOULD LIKE TO HARVEST A BULL.HAD ONE COMING IN THIS MORNING BUT GOT MESSED UP BY ROAD HUNTERS.(LOTS OF THEM ON THIS HUNT)ANY HELP WOULD BE SUPER!!!

LAST EDITED ON Oct-15-05 AT 08:37PM (MST)[p]Good luck, G&F are trying to basically eradicate all the Elk in this winter range. Kinda like the melatone mesa hunt only with a disclaimer. Look in the thick stuff near the edge of the unit.

You never know I wouldnt be surprised to hear of a 360 plus bull in the unit. its tuff but what the hell you get to go elk hunting.

yeah,we knew it would be a little tough we have a few more days.we were just wondering if someone had been hunting the unit this week and had any insights.if the bulls continue to bugle we should be able to tag one.
