Elk Meadows, McCall

LAST EDITED ON Aug-27-07 AT 10:10PM (MST)[p]Hey guys I am headed up to do some elk hunting. I am going to hunt up around Elk Meadows past Brundage in McCall. I am not very familiar with the area and was wondering if anyone could lead me in the right direction. I have gone a couple times scouting and the area looks like it might hold some elk except for most of the timber burned a little while ago. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Expect alot of company up there. It's a good herd, but they get hunted real hard every year and are very call shy. It isn't just the two legged hunters up there so expect them to be scattered and in the timber.
