LAST EDITED ON Dec-23-04 AT 09:36AM (MST)[p]Hi..new to your board. I was looking thru some of the pics posted here and saw that Camp williams buck.
I have a picture of a 42 1/4 buck taken about 10 miles from there and would like to post it. The racks are somewhat similar
and thought you might find it interesting. after many years I guess the genes are still there.
I am not up to speed on linking pics.

Also , I did not do a search but saw a picture of a 50" plus buck that was supposedly taken down near the AZ strip ..anyone have any info on it..supposedly poached? I just saw the picture down here in Utah County ( photo btw)..no chop.. just wanted to know if there is anything to it?

My Uncle was registered in the Ziniks big buck contest and told me when he first saw the buck he had to look twice. On the second look he said it was a 59 (IIRC) Edsel going over the hill .. looked again and it was the buck.
He did not win the Edsel.. he was beat out by 2 other guys ..
Uncle ......got a Camera.

ah the good ole days.
I thought he resemble the horn structure a little on that camp williams buck. maybe not.. This buck was take 10-15 miles from there.

Family still has the mount..

IIRC my uncle said he saw it going over the top of a ridge straight away from him. All he could see was the ass and horns.
No wanting to hit the head he shot it up the butt. I guess you do what ya gotta do. He had buck ego' and he wasn't sure he even hit him until he got up on the ridge and saw the buck down.
