What are your opinions on this camera? It looks pretty good all in all to me. Does anyone have it? Lets see some of your pictures or video with this camera so I can get an idea of what it looks like... Thanks

Hey Hubba,

I just bought this camera this fall when it came out on a recommendation from BuglinBilly. If you have seen some of his photos then you know the kind of stuff he comes up with. Love his stuff!

Anyway, he uses the previous models and I think he was saying he was going to get this one as well.

I haven't had a good chance to use mine much yet but so far I love it. The low f-value through the entire zoom range is very nice and it takes good sharp photos. I have a few I will post when I am around my computer.

Great gap camera and easy to pack around. I bought mine for hunting and backpacking. Gives me good quality while not having to lug around the heavy DSLR with all the lenses and such.

I think it's worth your time if that's what your are looking for.

Let me know if you have any specific questions and I will try and answer them.

Here are some photos I have taken with the camera. I think they turned out pretty good. Especially for a point and shoot. You will notice on the ones where I zoomed in all the way they still tend to look a little grainy, but this is a 400mm zoom with a point and shoot!

Hope this helps.

thanks for the review and some pictures! those are some pretty sweet pic. That definitely helped me out a bit.
Are there any other opinions out there??
Thanks

I have the FZ100 and my dad has the FZ150. I really like both of these cameras and they take very good pictures for not being an SLR. I use them for hunting and backpacking as they are much smaller and lighter than hauling around an SLR. A few examples of pictures. These have all been reduced in size/quality for posting on the internet.
