    JR'S wild game proessor

I used them about 4 years ago. They did an okay job. They were nowhere near the best I have used, but they weren't the worst either.

    Sighting in trouble

    > last year >I had my pins all >different and were not on >center of the wire on >my spot hogs That's definitely a problem of some kind. You should hit exactly the same left to right at 20 yards that you do at 50 yards.

    Sighting in trouble

You can use powder foot spray on your rest and riser to see if the vanes are hitting. If the rest is hitting the shelf that could be letting it bounce back up before the internal brake catches. I've had that happen before. Are you able to get a bullet hole when you paper tune? How many pounds...

    Sighting in trouble

Are you getting fletching contact on your rest? It sounds like it's either that, not properly tuned, or the arrows aren't spined correctly for your setup.

Talk me out of a Monster!

    >MrKrabs > >Did you ever shoot the MR5? > Yeah I've shot it and didn't really care for it. It's a little faster than the MR6, but for me it doesn't shoot as well. I think the MR6 has a good blend of speed, forgiveness, and accuracy.

Talk me out of a Monster!

I've got a MR7 and a MR6. I honestly shoot the MR6 better I believe, but they are both good bows. I'm shooting a 420gr arrow at 305 fps with only 66# of draw weight with the MR6. The draw length of that bow is about 29.5", but has the 29" modules installed.

    60# OR 70#

I'll take a heavy arrow at decent speed over a light arrow at blazing speeds every time.

    Bow Sight for Carbon Matrix

If you're going with fixed pins then the Axcel Armortech can't be beat. If you want a floating pin the guys I shoot with seem to really like the HHA.

    60# OR 70#

    slick trick broad heads

I started using them this past season. I shot a big bull elk at 33 yards. I aimed just a touch forward and hit him in the shoulder. I still got about 16" of penetration and had a massive blood trail.

Noobie getting back into shape ...

I've never used one of these, but have been thinking about getting one. http://www.bow-trainer.com/ Also when you draw your bow instead of using only arm and shoulder strength to get the weight back turn your hip slightly towards the bow before you start your pull then rotate back around as...

    First archery elk hunt

I was guided on this hunt. I didn't have all the gear I needed for this kind of hunt and decided since this was my first wilderness hunt it might be a good idea to get some help.
