Deer will be on the move come then. Big bucks could be anywhere. I like the idea of hunting on the borders of the private.

After we killed. Braden hiked out and got the grandkids and packed then into the deer for pictures

Get away from people. Once we did that with dad the bucks came out of the wood work. They are still up high. I know a lot of people say they are moving off top which some may be but there are still plenty of bucks high.

My dad just killed a buck our there. Lots of people and less deer than expected. That being said when we decided to hike we got bout 2 miles from crowds and found 11 bucks first 30 min of light and dad killed a stud. Buck had no teeth and mass for ever.

I would look into this. Call the DWR ask them. I could be wrong and Yelum could be right but I am pretty sure you are ok to follow that trail as long as you do not go off it.
