I switched this past year from Grimm Reapers to Ulmer Edge. They have a set screw that you can use so the blades don't deploy. I set a couple up and practice with those. I have also shot one without the set screw just to make sure. I have not had a chance at an elk yet, but smacked a good buck...

Congrats on the tag. I drew a rifle tag a few years ago. we killed a couple good bulls. Try Whitman bench. Bluefly creek and Kanab Creek. Good luck and keep us posted.

I used one a few yrs back. We took some scouts on a 50 mile back pack trip from Mirror Lake to Moon Lake. We used it at camp every night. Worked great. No one got ill, the trip was a blast.

I have used them as well. I shot and elk last year and the results were awesome. I whacked a coyote this year with one. Of course yotes are not really something to put a broadhead of any kind to the test, but it worked great. I will use them in the future.

I have used one for years. It has worked great for me. I had a little trouble tuning it when the rubber band broke. I spent a few bucks and bought another one. I use several calls and it is definately one I take along. Good luck. Dave
