Everything said so far seems to add up...I shot a buck this past fall that I green scored twice at 84 1/2. I took it to a taxi and had the skull boiled/cleaned and after 60 day drying period it netted 80 4/8. I was blown away that it would have shrunk that much but that seems to be the case...

IMHO no...it's not worth waiting for the possibility of better dates. I had an Ar301 tag in 2002 and that hunt ended on the 16th I believe and I heard one bugle the entire hunt, and I hunted every day but 3. I finally killed a 330 bull on the second to last day and that was the day I heard one...

hands down...of the ones you listed it would be the Panguitch Lake....I don't personally know the unit, but several of my buddies do and it's a pretty dang good unit.

When I was in college 4 or 5 years ago I had a kid in my class that drew a Bookcliffs archery elk tag with 1 point and hunted for 1 day. Said there were screaming bulls everywhere, and he was excited to draw another tag when he had some more time to hunt.....I about fell off of my chair.

Mulepacker.....I haven't seen this bull this year...I haven't been watching nearly as closely as I did in the past though. Are you involved with the feeding program there? Those are some great pictures. I have some pictures of those bulls after they moved into areas where I could access.

He's at least three and may be four, I can't remember ....but I've seen this bull at least the last three years in a row....

I know the guy that has this set of sheds from last year....in fact I had them in my hand this morning...he's a neat bull....scored in the 320's
