It's always fun looking for sheds in the spring. You get to see what made it through the winter, sometimes finding sheds off of deer that you have never seen before. Good luck to all those hitting the hills this spring, I hope you find a big one.

I was fortunate enough to draw an archery tag this year. Here's a couple of nice bucks from last weekend. I cant wait for September.

I didn't draw a tag to hunt mule deer this year. We have hunted for many years together. It was awesome having him be able to connect with such a great buck being pat of it even makes it better.

I chased this buck all fall and blotched an archery stalk just days before the rifle opener. I was with my good friend Aaron Baldwin when he took this awesome muley with rifle just hours into the opener. Here he is earlier in the year in the velvet.

Wow! I understand that the AZGF has to follow up on a complaint. But to issue you a citation is crazy. A little education about how the law is and what you may have been doing wrong would've been a lot smarter choice.

I was hunting West river. I feel very lucky as our deer herds are low because of three tough winters and an EHD outbreak this year.

Yes EHD has hit western ND pretty hard. There are lots of dead deer every where. There are some pockets that still have some deer but very few. We have it in Northern SD but not as bad as ND.
