121 late rifle

hi i drew a late rifle tag in 121, i didnt have that many points and expected to do more homework and scouting before drawing the tag. any help would be greatly appriciated, the season dates are oct31 nov6.

I'll be there late sept and mid oct to scout for my elk hunt nov 6-14.

I'll keep an eye out for a shooter...

LAST EDITED ON Sep-09-11 AT 08:49AM (MST)[p]Hunt the burns during that late hunt. Deer will not be where they are today by the time your hunt is here. snow impact as in most areas is your biggest concern. Check near cherry creek. Need more help send me a pm closer to your hunt date.

I had that tag last year. Saw several good bucks before I took a nice 188 incher on the second to last day. The weather was all over the spectrum last year and I think it helped quite abit. I have a good buddy with that tag this year.....he plans to check out the areas I hunted and hopes to connect on something big. Send me an email and I'll help as best I can.
