As some might remember from a previous thread... my wife drew a LE muzzy tag this year. In doing so we wanted to make sure we first, had a accucate load and two, had a reliable bullet. Now that we got the accurate part figure out, i want to see if these barnes are as tougj as everyone says they are. So today we went out practicing different shooting positions that she might encounter while chasing the big stinky. When she had enough and felt confident in her shooting we busted out the 3 gallon bucket filled with sand. She shot it once, then i shot it once. They were both shot from 75 yardd. The load was 107 grains by volume of bh209 with a cci mag primer. When she shot i couldnt believe the amount of force hit the bucket with sand looking like a bomb went off inside the bucket. We were able to recover both bullets. Both bullets weighed the exact same. I was extremely impressed with the weight retention and the mushroom. Now it just sept 21st
